About Me
My name is Carl Futia. Here is a recent photograph of me:
I started following the stock market after I read Nick Darvas' book " How I Made Two Million Dollars in the Stock Market". That book was published in 1961 so you can tell I have been around for a while!
I studied mathematics and economics at Yale University and went on to earn a Ph.D in economics from U. C. Berkeley.
I have published a number of scholarly papers in economics and mathematics journals, but my passion has always been the financial markets. I have pursued this passion full time as a self-employed guru and trader since 1982.
